"I like this Shoe and these are my third pair. These are not waterproof (not many Clarkes shoes are now) but they are a great fit. Plenty of wax worked into the upper/sole joints really help though."

"I bought my first pair of Cotrell Edge a couple of years ago or so. I have wide 'flipper' feet so struggle to get shoes wide enough to fit. This shoe comes in standard G and wide H fitting; I bought the latter. They are really comfy to wear and, because there's a good depth in the upper, they don't catch on my big toe, like most other shoes. I've used them extensively and actually find them more comfy and supportive than my walking boots/trainers. I've worn them to go on rigorous walks, trekking and climbing up dusty, rocky hills in hot climates. They have remained in good condition, waterproof and smart despite all that. Only now, 2 years on, have the soles begun to wear a little flat (they had tread on them) but they have had some serious wear. Also, I'm a girl, and these are men's shoes but, to be honest, they're unisex and look good with any pair of jeans. I love them so much that I have 2 brand new pairs for when my current ones wear out... they are so perfect."
