By accessing and using www.humphriesshoes.co.uk (“our site”), you accept and agree to comply with the terms of use stated here. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our site.

We reserve the right to amend these terms, our site or any promotional offers at any given time without prior consent. These terms were last updated on 09/01/2019.

 

Accuracy of Information

Images of the Products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. Although we make every effort to display colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display accurately represents the colour of the Products. Your Product may slightly vary from those images.

Packaging of Products may vary from images shown on our site.

Although we make every effort to be accurate with the pricing and description of our Products, there may be occasions where an error has been made. We are not obliged to supply the Product at the incorrect price or in accordance with the incorrect description. We reserve the right to correct these errors. If we discover an error in the price/description of a Product you have ordered, regardless of whether the order has been confirmed, we will contact you to inform you of the error and you will have the option to continue with your purchase at the correct price/description, or cancel your order.

 

Availability

We make every effort to ensure our website is up to date, including our stock levels. If we are unable to supply you with a Product for any reason, for example a Product is listed as in stock when it is not; we will inform you of this by email and will not process your order. If you have already paid for the Products, we will refund you the full amount, including any delivery costs charged, as soon as possible. In the case that the unavailable item is part of an order which qualifies for a Promotion and the Promotion no longer applies, we will contact you and ask if you wish to proceed with the order.

 

Promotions

These terms apply to all Promotions, unless otherwise stated.

From time to time, we may offer Promotional Offers on our website; we reserve the right to withdraw these promotions at any time. Promotional Offers are only valid online and on full-priced items. Only one Promotional Code can be applied to a single transaction. Promotional Codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

If an item is returned from an order which qualified for a Promotion, you may only receive a partial refund if the Promotion no longer applies.

 

Competitions

Each Competition may have its own terms of which you accept and agree to if you enter. In the case a Competition does not have its own terms, these rules shall prevail. All competitions are open to UK residents over the age of 18. Prizes are non-transferrable and there is no cash alternative. One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified within one day of being drawn and required to send all prize details and information via our requested communication channel. If any required information is not returned within seven days of notification of correspondence, then the Prize may be withdrawn and an alternative winner may be selected at our discretion. Humphries’ decision on all Competitions is final.

 

Deliveries

All delivery times given are estimates. During busy times of the year, i.e. Christmas, delivery times may be longer.

We aim to despatch all orders placed before 14:00 the same working day. However, at busy times, we aim to have your order despatched within 24 hours. Despatch times at weekends and bank holidays may be longer.

You will receive a despatch email at the time your order is handed over to Royal Mail. Your tracking number may take up to 2 hours to validate. The tracking status will update from 'We're expecting it' once your order has been accepted into the Royal Mail network at Birmingham Mail Centre.

If your delivery fails and is returned to sender, we will contact you and hold your order for 7 days. If after 7 days we have not received further instruction from you, we will cancel your order and issue a refund.

 

Missing Parcels

It’s very rare for parcels to go missing in the Royal Mail network, but we understand these things do happen and we’re here to help.

The first thing to do is track your order. Please Click Here to track your order and enter the tracking number included in your despatch email. Alternatively, you can track your order directly from your despatch email.

 

If your order has been marked as delivered, but you have not received it, please Contact Us.

It may be the case this has been marked as delivered by mistake and will often be delivered in the next couple of days.

Please can you confirm the following:

1. Your delivery address

2. No card has been left

3. They have not been left with a neighbour

Upon receiving this information, we will open an investigation with Royal Mail to locate the whereabouts of your parcel. Please note this can take up to three working days.

We will ensure that you receive your order.

 

UK & Channel Islands

If your order is still in transit, please allow 7 working days from your due delivery date for your order to make its way through the Royal Mail network and to be delivered. Delays can be caused by a number of reasons including, but not limited to; busy times of the year and adverse weather conditions.

We will ensure that you receive your order.

International

If your order is still in transit, please allow 20 working days (25 working days outside of Europe) from your due delivery date for your order to make its way through the Royal Mail network and to be delivered. Delays can be caused by a number of reasons including, but not limited to; unforeseen delays to imports at destination country, busy times of the year and adverse weather conditions.

We will ensure that you receive your order.

 

International

Orders placed outside of the EC Fiscal area will have any VAT removed at the checkout. Childrens footwear in the UK and not subject to VAT.

Humphries Shoes are not responsible for customs, duty or admin charges made by a destination country outside of the EU. Orders will be declared to customs at order value. For more information about import charges, please contact the customs office for your country.

 

Collect in Store

If you have not collected your order 7 days after your chosen collection date, we will attempt to contact you to remind you.

If you have not collected your order 14 days after your chosen collection date, we will cancel your order and issue a refund.

 

Gift Cards

1. Gift Cards can be used Online or in any of Our Stores.

2. Gift Cards are non-refundable.

3. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash. No change or cash refunds will be given but the remaining balance on the card can be used for future purchases. If an item purchased with a Gift Card is returned for a refund, the refund will be issued onto a Gift Card.

4. Gift Cards do not expire.

5. You must treat your Gift Card like cash; lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards will not be replaced.

6. The maximum limit for Gift Cards is £500.00.

7. To check the balance of your Gift Card, please use the above balance checker.

 

Returns

Goods must be returned within 28 days of receiving them. All returned items must be unworn, in their original condition and in their original packaging.

All returns must include a completed returns form. Item(s) must be returned either in store or repackaged and returned using the prepaid returns label provided.

You must write your return address on the bottom of the the Prepaid Returns Label provided.

Your parcel must not exceed 61cm x 46cm x 46cm in size or 20KG in weight. We will provide multiple labels if this is the case.

Use of the prepaid label is NOT FREE. £2.50 per label will be deducted from your refund.

If you are entitled to a refund for an entire order, then you are entitled to a refund of the least expensive delivery charge on offer from us at the time of your order (EU only). You will not receive a refund for charges incurred from returning Goods to us. You must request and keep your proof of postage at the time of returning your item(s) to us.

Exchanges are subject to availability.

One exchange per order is free.

Additional exchanges will incur extra postage charges – we will contact you to arrange payment for such charges.

If an item is returned from an order which qualified for a Promotion, you may only receive a partial refund if the Promotion no longer applies. We are unable to offer an exchange or refund for any worn or used items unless they are faulty.

We regret that we cannot reimburse charges incurred when returning items.

 

Cancellations

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, your right to cancel your order begins the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the date you receive your order.

If you wish to cancel your order which has already been received, please ensure all items are returned unworn, in their original condition and in their original packaging within 14 days of cancelling your order.

To cancel your order, Contact Us advising us you would like to cancel and quote your order number.

 

Shoe Care

Humphries Shoes can accept no liability for any change in the appearance, texture, quality or comfort of any product once shoe care has been applied.

Please follow instructions and guidance provided on the shoe care product.

Faulty Products

Please Contact Us about a fault before returning any item to us. We may be able to assist in returning the item at no extra cost.

Within 30 days: If your goods are deemed to be faulty, you are entitled to a full refund.

Up to 6 months: If your goods are deemed to be faulty, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If this is not possible, you may be entitled to a full refund.

After 6 months: Please Contact Us.

Please note, you will not be able to request reimbursement of postage charges made to return items. Please Contact Us as we will be able to assist in returning the item at no extra cost.
