"Well, for a week I thought I'd be sending them back as I just could not get them on! I fought with them, rolled them down, huffed and puffed, sent hubby out to buy a shoehorn, scrutinized the sole against my others the same size. I studied youtube, put carrier bags over my feet, all to no avail. I just couldn't get my heel past the heel. Finally, on a day I felt I needed to give it one last try, I put my bare foot in, and stood up and pushed. It went in. I made a coffee, took a photo and reported half success on Facebook. Ten minutes later I tried again, and that too went in. I walked around for ten minutes before remembering the episode from Friends where Ross couldn't get his leather trousers off. So I took them off. I've managed to get them on again since but not worn them outside yet due to awful weather. Beautiful boots, would have been heartbroken to return them."
